Threshold (“we”, “us”) is software that real estate agents use to keep their own clients informed about their home sale or purchase. This policy explains what information we handle and how we protect it.
Who we serve
Our customers are licensed real estate agents. When an agent uses Threshold, we process information about that agent's own clients (home sellers and buyers) on the agent's behalf, so the agent can send those clients updates about their transaction.
Information we collect
- Agents: name, email, mobile number, brokerage, and the calendar link and transaction details the agent chooses to connect.
- Agents' clients: name, mobile number and/or email, the property address, and transaction milestones (such as showing dates, inspection and closing dates).
- Messages: the text messages and emails we send for the agent, and replies clients send back.
- Website signups: the name and mobile number you enter to request early access.
How we use it
- To send an agent's clients transaction updates and appointment reminders on that agent's behalf.
- To forward client replies to their agent.
- To contact agents who sign up for early access.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messaging
Mobile numbers are used only to send the transaction updates and reminders described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf (such as our SMS carrier provider). Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Threshold: database hosting (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), text message delivery (Twilio), and AI processing to summarize feedback and answer simple factual questions (Anthropic). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to the agent who owns it. We keep transaction data while the agent's account is active and delete it on the agent's request.
Your choices
Clients can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or reply to any email to ask not to receive more. To access or delete your information, contact us at support@thresholdpilot.com.
